moving on to kodai kanal

tired of the heat of madurai, we moved on to the chilly hill station of kodaikanal,
as usual we wanted to have a reasonably priced (aka really really cheap) room, at a place recommended by lonely planet. however they only had available their most pricey room - a whopping(?) Rs 650 deluxe, complete with fireplace, giant porch, kingsize bed, and whatnot.
what to say? we took the place, and from that moment on, every minute we spent out of the room was a complete waste of time, as the "sights" of kodai were ridiculously indian (since kodai had turned into an indian resort)
and the view from famous viewpoints in kodai could not match the view from our porch, as you shall soon see in the following pictures
