In Chennai we spent 1 day on our way to Andaman Islands (since our flight was from this big city), and a few hours on our way back, before landing in Kolkata (when we spent our time mostly in the air port).Chennai is one of India's big cities. It is over crowded and polluted, and the best time we spent there was at the movies, watching all the posh young men and women who are wealthy enough to milk their parents 100 Rps for a movie.
That was also Linda's first experience of bribing someone- when we attempted to send a package to Israel (which still hasn't arrived there, so maybe the bribe thing didn't work after all...)
