At my last day in Hampi I met good old Neil again. We went traveling on "the other side of the river" on Motorbikes- to see the lake in the area, got lost in the way, and had a wonderful day!
Third day in Hampi: I did some site seeing in Hampi's ruins. While doing that I learned a striking fact of life: People in India are building temples and worshiping Shiva Linga (i.e- shiva's penis)
On my second day in Hampi- I climbed to a view point with a few friends to see the sunset. The view was wonderful and for the first time in my life I saw numerous monkeys free to do what ever they wanted
All arround Hampi you can find beautiful banana plantation. This picture was taken from the guest house where I spent my last 2 days (out of 5) in Hampi. In the backgound: The ruins of Hampi and it's biggest temple
